Don Murphy

Head of Global Client Service

Don Murphy is Head of Global Client Service for LaCrosse Global Fund Services and is responsible for a global team that provides support for all the firm’s hedge fund clients. In addition, Don manages the client on boarding process ensuring a smooth transition onto the LaCrosse platform. Prior to developing this group he was a director in the Product the Management Group of LaCrosse where he was responsible for the development and implementation of solutions for fund administration and middle office services for hedge funds.

Prior to joining LaCrosse Don held positions at both BearingPoint and Capco as a Senior Manager and co-head of the Alternative Asset segment of the Wealth and Investment Management Group where he was responsible for all delivery and market activities related to types of companies in that area. Don’s focused on serving all aspects of the alternative asset management industry including operational risk reviews; start up services and third party applications and services selections. Don’s responsibilities included the overall identification, development and execution of a new program designed to provide operations and infrastructure review services to the alternative asset industry.  Focusing specifically on the hedge fund and fund of funds industry, this program was designed to provide a quick, concise review of a fund focusing on all operational aspects of fund operations such as valuation, position management, asset servicing, and investor relations and also including interfaces and communications with key service providers (i.e., prime brokers, administrators, custodians, etc.).
