Gustavo Rodriguez Ponti

Head of Latin America Operations

Gustavo Rodriguez Ponti is the head of LaCrosse Global Fund Services’ Latin American operations. In this role, he manages the operations team, serves as Controller for the geography, evaluates internal controls to mitigate settlement risk, and provides ongoing analysis and improvement of systems and procedures.

He joined Cargill in 1979 and held various accounting and management positions in corporate financial reporting and the food business groups in Argentina. In 1996, he joined the Financial Markets division, and, in 2002, he became regional controller for the Argentina, Colombia and Venezuela offices. In 2003, he was named managing director of the Latin American offices for Black River Global Fund Services.

With 25 years of professional administration and finance experience, Rodriguez Ponti has developed and implemented internal control of operations, accounting and cost systems, and created quality programs for treasury and cash management systems.

Rodriguez Ponti graduated from the University Argentina de la Empresa in Buenos Aires in 1983 with a B.S. in Business Administration. He is a member of Consejo Profesional Ciencias Economica, Argentina, a financial and accounting association.
