Ian Lokkerbol

Head of Europe Operations

Ian Lokkerbol is the head of LaCrosse Global Fund Services’ European operations. In this role, he manages the operations team, serves as controller for the geography, evaluates internal controls to mitigate settlement risk and provides ongoing analysis and improvement of systems and procedures. He also is the compliance officer for the United Kingdom operation, ensuring compliance with FSA requirements.

Lokkerbol joined Cargill in 1997 as a product line accountant in the United Kingdom. In 1998, he was promoted to accounting manager and later was promoted to managing director and senior operations manager for the United Kingdom. In 2004 he was promoted to managing director for Black River Global Fund Services Europe.

Prior to joining Cargill, Lokkerbol worked for KPMG as an audit supervisor for four years, specializing in manufacturing and aviation. He also was involved with due diligence reviews, working capital reviews and implementing new systems abroad.

Lokkerbol graduated with honors from the University of Lancaster in 1992 with a B.A. in Accounting and Finance. In 1995, he qualified as a chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
