Julie Getchell

Chief Financial Officer

Julie Getchell is LaCrosse Global Fund Services’ chief financial officer. She maintains responsibility for the company’s fiscal operations, fund administration and corporate finance.

Getchell joined Cargill in 2004 having spent the majority of her career in the financial services industry. Her career began at Deloitte and Touche in 1982 as an auditor focused on brokerage clients. In 1985 she moved to RBC Dain Rauscher and for the next six years held management positions in financial accounting, then financial analysis supporting the executive team.  In 1991 she became chief financial officer and part of the start up team to launch a new fixed income investment advisory business for Dain Rauscher. In this role she was responsible for the development and oversight of the finance, compliance and operations functions for the new business. In 1996, she was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of Insight Investment Management (later renamed to Voyaguer Asset Management), a wholly-owned subsidiary of RBC Dain Rauscher. During her tenure as president from 1996 to 2001, the firm grew to $7 billion in assets under management.

Getchell graduated from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management in Minneapolis with a B.S. in Accounting. She has been a CPA since 1984, became a CFA in 2001 and has passed the NASD series 7, 63 and 65 securities exams. She is a member of AICPA and the CFA Institute.
