Chief Operations Officer

Kok Ying Lee serves as chief operations officer for LaCrosse Global Fund Services and maintains responsibility for the company’s worldwide management and operations.

Lee joined Cargill in 1995 as an accounting manager for its Financial Markets Division based in Singapore and was quickly promoted to serve as Asia controller for Global Capital Markets in 1998. In Asia, she led a broad team of professionals and had functional responsibility for operations, accounting and technology. In 2002, she assumed the role of vice president and global controller for the Global Capital Markets division of Cargill.

In 2003, Lee was named senior managing director of Black River Global Fund Services, a predecessor to LaCrosse Global Fund Services. Today she leads the global fund administrative business with responsibility for facilitating a broad spectrum of investment strategies by providing settlement and accounting services for financial products, from exchange-traded equities to complex derivatives.

Prior to joining Cargill, Lee held a variety of controller and accounting positions. In 1990, she joined Morgan Grenfell Asia Ltd, a leading merchant bank based in Singapore. Lee spent a year as a compliance officer with the Association of Futures Brokers and Dealers in London, a self-regulatory body for the futures industry. She also spent several years in New Zealand with Bancorp Holdings Limited, a newly listed merchant bank where she launched the operations and accounting function. Prior to that, she spent a year with Security Pacific merchant bank in New Zealand in a lead accounting role and began her career with KPMG as an assistant auditor in New Zealand.

Lee has been a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore since 1991. She graduated from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1985. Lee also earned a M.B.A. from the Cranfield Institute of Technology in the United Kingdom in 1992.
